headbands

illustration

Lately I’ve been loving and wearing headbands a lot. They never suited my face very much, but I always had a secret crush on them.Last week I’ve been in London for a couple of days, and after buying a lovely floral printed dress (btw I spent more than 2 hours in topshop, and I could have stayed there even longer if I hadn’t things to do! this place is amazing.) I couldn’t resist to buy some new headbands. I can’t wait to wear the one with the big bow.

Florah Deborah!! :) (Hee-hee…’about’ pages provide wonderful information!! :) I am soo happy you have posted! I was worried you had given up your blog…but am very happy to see you have not! The headbands are beautiful….they will look lovely on you (I especially like the flowered one, and the one with the shiny metal squares). You have such wonderful hair…your hair and your look often seem reflective of the best aspects of the 1960s…you would have fit in well at Woodstock, I think (and especially with these wonderful headbands!! :). So I think this will be a wise choice for you, these beautiful headbands, and I know you will receive many compliments, while wearing them.
And please, no worries at all about it’s having been a few days since your post, and your response to my comments…you were in London, and that supercedes any and all other things! London, *sigh* that would be my dream trip someday (I have a fear of flying though, so it might have to be a sea voyage to England, for me! Which is fine…I love the old ways of traveling…I’ve taken a train sleepcar several times here in the States…and it is the most amazing way to see the country! From New York State to San Diego…you see every river, little burg…mountain and desert, and it is wonderful). Hey, I wonder if you flew, or took the chunnel, to get to England?
OH!! And thank you for explaining in the sweetest, funniest way that I do not know the difference between members fo the family canis (a puppy) and the family lepus (a bunny)! I laughed when I saw your beautifully-worded explanation of who I saw in the little enclosure behind you. Aren’t bunnies the sweetest little creatures? I had a bunny, Amanda, when I was very young..she was pure black–as dark as ebony–from head to toe….she had the sweetest, kindest nature. She was the best little bunny. May I ask what your own little friend’s name is? Well, I am writing too much. I am happy you had such a nice vacation in London, and I hope everything is going smashingly for you. Be well, Flo, and have a great weekend, sincerely, Chris

Chris R: thank you!! I love the ‘60, I’m glad that you see a connection between me and those great years :) I took a fly to go in the uk, luckily there are some very cheap flights to traverse europe now! To cross usa by train has to be amazing too. remind me of kerouac. aw my bunny’s name is Pucci.
    p.s. yes I didi it :)

Asja: thank you very much! I’m glad you like it :)
