if you look at the head of the being, it looks like a bird in flight, coming in for a landing (you see the wings and tail with your peripheral vision, and it gives the bird-like illusion)…but then as you look at the body, it does appear to be humanoid, with the additional characteristics of a bird…the entire drawing is like an optical illusion!

Unluckily I was on the bus while I was taking the pictures and it was moving so much that the pictures didn’t came out very well. Anyway I’ll post some pictures of the city in the next few days!
